Thane: The number of active Covid-19 patients continued to rise in Thane City amid a small surge in new cases on Friday, 68 people were tested positive for viruses, taking the overall number of cases to 1.39.218.
Among new cases, 23 people were tested positively in Majiwada-Manada, followed by 19 in Uthalsar and 10 in Vartak Nagar.
Six people were tested positively in Kalwa, three of each at Local-Savarkar Nagar and Naupada-Kopri, two in Diva and each at Mumbra and Wagale Wards.
Fortunately, there was no newly reported death.
The victim’s victim was killed at 2,091.
The amount of recovery increased to 1,26,417 with 64 people out.
At present, 710 people take care.
The recovery rate is 97.99 percent while the multiplier level is 1,438 days.
Meanwhile, more than 9,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were given on Friday.
