Thane: Thane City on Tuesday once again see a surge in a new Covid-19 case with 81 people testing the positive virus.
With that, the total number of cases has increased to 1,39,014.
Among new cases, 26 people were tested positively in the Majiwada-Manada region, followed by 14 in Uthalsar and 10 in Naupada-Kopri.
Eight people were tested positively in Vartak Nagar, seven each at Local-Savarkar and Kalwa, four in Diva, three in Wagale, and two in Mumbra.
During the day, 65 people were sent back, taking a total recovery to 1.36.231.
The toll road remains at 2,090 without new death Covid-19.
At present, 693 people take care.
The recovery rate is 98 percent and double the number is 1,587.
