Thane: Police Thane investigated extortion cases against former beer beer beer and 28 Thane and 28 others, now have arrested one Tariq Parveen, which was reported as aide near Gangster Fugitive Dawood Ibrahim.
A police officer confirmed that this was the second arrest in this case because previously a developer Sanjay Punmiyah was arrested.
While on Tuesday, Parveen was detained by the Thane Nagar Police Station where Singh, former Cop Pradeep Sharma, Inspector of Rajkumar Kothmire, a collection agent suspected of being Vikas Dabhade who was previously arrested by Palghar police in the cricket bet and other gambling cases were accused.
The police said that his role was cut during an investigation and therefore the police put it under the arrest for further investigation after he was transferred from Taloja’s prison where he had been tried in another case.
A police officer informed that while bookie Sonu road was in a custody of anti-extortion cells from Police Thane, the police accused of taking their cellphones sourced with road contacts and threatened them to slap Mcoca cases against them and receive a sum of money from them, One doctor from Nasik was called by them and Parveen was mediated in the name of the police accused of coming to the anti-extortion cell from Thane police.
REMAND reports stated, ” , Avinash Ambure, DCP Zone-1 refused to comment on other developments in this case.
