Thane: In other plans, Thane Municipal Corporation has provided a green signal to build and operate the internal high-capacity metro, instead of the proposed urban rail transit.
A proposal was submitted last Wednesday at the TMC general body meeting and selected members cleaned them.
A civilian official said there was a need to strengthen Lake City’s internal network, so initially TMC had proposed the Metro internal to connect various parts of the city to the Ghatkopar-Roughwadavali metro line, but then turned to the Urban Light Rail Transit, which was then cleaned by TMC.
