Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will do the covid-19 vaccination drive across 77 centers in the city on Tuesday.
Both the covaxin and covishield vaccine doses will be available for beneficiaries over 18 years.
The Civic body has held a special session for women in TMC TRI Naka 1 and TMC Tembi Naka 2 on Tuesday.
The first dose and both covishield will be available in these vaccination centers.
Those who have taken the first dose of Covishield until June 28 are now eligible for their second jab.
Special walk-in sessions have been held at TMC Post Covid Center 1 for those who will fly abroad.
TMC Yeor Health Center has held a special session for tribes 12pm for up to 4pm.
TMC Central Railway Health Year has arranged a special session for train staff and their families only, while the TMC Thane police center has organized special sessions for police staff and their families.
All centers will provide preferences to different city residents, pregnant women and nursing mothers, Civic’s body said.
Those who have taken the first dose of Covaxin on August 23 now qualify for their second dose.
Covaxin will be available in 10 inoculation centers including TMC Wagle Estate HC 2, TMC Post Covid Center 2, TMC Patlipada 2, TMC Naupada HC 2 and TMC Diva (ATC) 2, among others.
Meanwhile, 59 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Monday, said a citizenship official.
