Thane: Five people have been arrested for alleged involvement in theft in the Naupada Thane City area, police said on Friday.
Assistant Commissioner of Venkat Police Andale said stolen goods worth Rs 1.69 lakh recovered from five, which consisted of four women and a man, who was the driver of the Autorickshaw.
He said the defendant, all the residents of Kalwa, were detained after CCTV footage of places where theft occurred.
