Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Monday announced that the water supply will be suspended for 24 hours due to large repair work.
There will be no stock from Wednesday (December 15) 9am to Thursday (December 16) 9 in the morning to carry out maintenance and improvements to work in various places in the city.
The main affected area will include Ghodbunder Road, Gandhi Nagar, Kisan Nagar, Wagle Estate, Area around Eternity Mall and Johnson & Johnson, Samata Nagar, Ram Nagar, Patlipada, Hiranandani Estate, Siddheshwar, Indira Nagar, Gaimukh, Gaimukh, Sri Nagar , Gaimukh, balkum, colhet and Azad Nagar.
Also, there will be water cuts from 9pm on Wednesday to 9 in the morning on Thursday in areas such as Ritu Park, Thane Jail, Saket, Mumbra, RustomJee and various parts of the neighboring neighborhood of Kalwa.
Thanekars have been asked to make arrangements against discomfort.
The Civic’s body has also asked residents in the city to store water and use it wisely for two days after water cuts because water demand will be high at the supply of resumes and water flow can be influenced as a result.
