Thane: A 30-year-old housewife from Kalwa has been arrested for allegedly killing her “sick” son of six months and then threw away in the drum filled with water, said the local police on Sunday.
The defendant, Shanta Chavan, lived with her husband, a worker, and their three children, including a baby who died, in the slums of Mahatma Phule in Kalwa.
“Based on our initial investigation, we have found that Chavan provides a dose of excessive cough syrup to the baby’s son on Thursday because he often coughed and often coughed.
