New Delhi: The day after joining the Congress of Trinamool Bengal Bengal Barat, MP Babul Supriyo on Sunday thanked the Banerjee Mamata Party because he gave him the opportunity to “play 11”.
“I thank Mamata Didi, Abhishek Banerjee and TMC for giving me a chance on ‘playing 11’,” Supriyo said, the day after his surprise induction to the party.

Following the Cabinet Rejig, Supriyo announced his decision to quit politics but was persuaded by the BJP leadership to continue as a member of the Sabha Lok.
Speaking of his decision to join TMC, Supriyo said he had been in politics for seven years now and felt it was a good opportunity for community welfare.
MP Aasyi, which is often in the loggersheads with mamata and its leaders, said he received love and support from a party with him he had a turbulent relationship.

“I am very happy to join TMC.
I will work for the development of Bengal,” he said.
