Pune: The crime branch official on Friday night saw a farm with 250 marijuana plants in Mulshi Taluka after the arrest of two people from Kothrud.
The police have confiscated all plants, which are valued at 7.71 lakh.
A team led by Prakash Khandekar Inspector and sub-inspectors were drawn Chavan from anti-narcotics cells patrolling in the cathrud area when the team saw two men moving suspiciously.
When examined, the duo was found with 580g marijuana.
The team arrested the duo, which was identified as Chetan Maruti Mohol (27) and Saheba Hullappa Methetre (20) from Kothrud, and also arrested their motorcycle.
The case against them has been registered with the Kothrud police.
After questioning, the police team found that they had brought marijuana from the PAUD area.
Other teams found agricultural marijuana growing in Ambadvet Village, which leads to two more arrests.
