Washington: Military Post in Southern Syria was hit by a coordinated attack on Wednesday, but a US official said no American forces placed there was injured or killed.
The official said the attack appeared to include at least one drone attack and may be pounded.
It is unclear who does the attack.
US troops and coalitions are based on Al-Tanf Garrison to train local Syrian opposition forces to patrol to fight Islamic guerrillas.
This base is also located on a road that serves as a vital link for the Iranian-supported troops from Tehran to Lebanon and South Israel.
The official said there was no information about whether local forces were injured or killed in the attack.
