The Bank of India said that the physical presence would be limited to 50% in the administrative office, including the head office in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.
In branches, physical presence must be limited to 75% in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.
The remaining staff will work from home.
The bank has also decided to increase the availability of collaborative platforms such as Citrix to facilitate WFH.
Pregnant women and those who are disabled are also allowed to work from home in three cities.
Meanwhile, Indian Institutes of Banking and Finance have postponed the exam scheduled for January 8-9.
