Rajkot: The body of three people, who was swept away by the waters emanating after heavy rains in various parts of the Jamnagar district, found on Wednesday.
Bharat Kateshiya is 25 years old, a resident of Khodiyar Society in Jamnagar, sank on the Rangmati-Nagmati River on Monday afternoon when trying to save his uncle.
Kateshiya’s body was found in the bushes near the sinking place.
The body of a pedicab driver was automatically found near the vagudai bridge.
Vinod Shekhva, a resident of Bhimkata Village in Jodiya Taluka from the Jamnagar District, was swept along with his automatic rickshaw when he tried to cross the overflowing bridge.
On Wednesday, a 14-year-old boy from Kalipat Village in Rajkot-Bhavnagar Highway sank while trying to cross the Aji.
The deceased was identified as Dharmesh Lunakiya.
His dead body was found a few hours later from the same place.
