Thiruvananthapuram: Two brothers from Varkala have made a proud country in the Republican Day Venue this year in Delhi.
While G Adarsh represents the Indian Army, G Akash represents the Directorate of NCC Kerala-Lakshadweep.
Their pullers haven’t met each other for the past year and can only meet each other during the training session.
This is the second time both of them appear for the Republican Day Parade.
Adarsh has participated in the parade for the first time in 2016, which affected Akash to follow the streets of his brother and he appeared in 2017.
This is the first time they simultaneously.
Akash is one of the 100 NCC cadets from all of India chosen for the parade.
“When my brother shared his experience after his first parade, I told him that we would do it together next time.
I said it was a joke but it was a dream that came true for us.
We cried because of happiness.
We come from a family of agriculture and parents We also teach us farming.
They have struggled a lot to give us good education and what we want to do is make them proud.
I reached Delhi on December 18 to practice.
Covid regulations are followed strictly when the participants retain two hands from each other And also do a normal Covid test, “Akash said.” I was very happy when I learned that my younger brother was also chosen for the parade.
That’s his dream.
Because of the limitation of Covid, I can’t meet him where he lives.
I’m really happy When I saw it appearing on the ground, “said G Adarsh, Lance went up in the Indian Army.
Their parents are equally happy.
“I consider this a great gift from our children,” said their mother Bindhu.
While their pastor Ganesh said that he had worries about their future but now they have proven him wrong.
“As we know, the Republican Day Parade Selection process is not an easy task.
Akash is a hard-working child and paid well.
He is the commander of Rally PM this year,” said Lieutenant Sunil Raj N, the NCC Officer of Attingal Government College.
