Ranchi: The Country Cabinet on Tuesday approved a number of proposals aimed at improving the Jharkhand industry climate.
Among important decisions, the cabinet made gave a nod to the proposal for the Ministry of State to establish its own mining and exploration company.
The corporation will explore mineral reserves within the geographical boundaries of the country and also participate in e-aurniture various mineral blocks.
The 11-ministerial council members also provide a nod to a proposal to provide 100% subsidies on electrical tasks to new prisoners and which is in this country for five years in an effort to attract large ticket projects under the Jharkhand Projects and promotional policies Investment, 2021.
In other decisions, the Cabinet approved the State Industry Department proposal to ratify the global consultation and professional service company, Ernst & Young, to partner with Jharkhand in the upcoming Dubai International Expo 2020, which is scheduled to be held between 30 September and 6 October This year.
This will be the first sightseeing of Jharkhand at the Expo.
The revised proposal for the development of the Urban State to build a flyover in Ranchi which connects Yogada Satsang Ashram and Shanti Nagar in Kokar at a cost of Rs 224.95 Crore also received a Cabinet’s nod.
This project, also known as the Flyover Kantatoli project, was approved by the Government of Raghubar Das but was suspended by the department after conducting a feasibility study.
“New wild will be 2,24 km long and will have a revised design.
It will be completed in two years,” said Secretary of the Cabinet Vandan Dadel.
The council of the minister also gave his nodding to start the first phase of the construction of Nagar transportation at the net value of Rs 113.22 Crore on the land of 49.81-acre in Sukurhuttu in the Kanke Ranchi block.
It also approved a proposal for a free transfer from a 2.34 hectare plot located in Jordag in Khunti’s Karra to the Ministry of Union HRD to build Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
In other important decisions, the Cabinet gave a nod to transfer assets and labor eight minor hydel power projects under the Bihar Hydel Power Corporation despite being within the Jharkhand geographical limit.
Hydel projects are the Mandal Dam in Palamu and Chandil Dam in the Kolhan Division, among others.
Dadel said, “The cabinet also provides a nod to establish a project management unit for the implementation of rice distribution that is enriched under the PDS scheme based on pilots.” The PADI Fortress Project is a pilot scheme that aims to reduce malnutrition by adding micronutrients to distributed rice based on the PDS scheme.
