Lucknow: In a big boost to the ROPEWAY project in Varanasi, the Cabinet on Wednesday gave approval for the variability gap fund, reports the feasibility, demand for proposal documents (RFP), draft concession documents, etc.
The Project 3.65 Km will start from Varanasi Cantt and rise to church across through Sajan Tiraha and Rath Yatra.
As expected, 80,000 passengers will use Ropeway per day.
“The decision to make Ropeway was taken considering the great pressure provided by transportation in the city infrastructure.
On October 21, 2021, the housing and urban planning department formed a supply evaluation committee.
This project will be developed in public private partnership mode,” said an official.
It was decided that the center would contribute 20% to the RS 410 Crore project as funding the villability gap and the same number will be contributed by the state government.
The remaining 60% will be included by the concession holder.
In another major decision, the Cabinet gave approval to make Bhatkhande Music Institute, the university was considered in the state capital, a state university full of full.
Sources say institutions such as the Kathak Academy, Sangeet Natak Academy, Lalit Kala Academy etc., will be affiliated with it and will publish the title.
“So a full university, the scope will develop throughout the state.
This will issue degrees and can even get along with foreign universities and promote research,” an official said.
The new Khandsari license policy has also been issued, for five years, instead of one year.
This policy will help promote small industries and cottages, officials said.

Those who owe the contribution must submit a request to the District Excise Officer to issue approval.
The applicant must clean at least 50% of contributions within 30 days after the agreement and the remainder in 60 days.
The government has also increased the annual grant to the Sports Association of Rs 15,000 to Rs 2 Lakh under Eklavya sports funds.
