New Delhi: Governor Meghalaya Satya Pal Malik has once again urged the center to guarantee the price of minimum support (MSP) through laws to farmers who protested.
Make a strong case for MSP guarantees, Governor Meghalaya on Sunday said, “If the government (center) provides a guarantee of MSP through the Act, it can be resolved (agitation of farmers to three agricultural laws).
There is only one thing, so why are you (center ) Should not fulfill it? They (farmers) will not compromise with less than MSP.
“This is not the first time Satya Pal Malik has received support from farmers who protested.
In March this year, overcoming a meeting in Hometown Up, Governor Meghalaya had warned the center against the battle and insulted farmers to leave their protest sites in their national capital.
“Farmers will not go away and if they do it, they will not forget it for the next 300 years.
Pretty Legal Recognition to MSP and it will be my responsibility to deal with the rest,” said Malik later.
Farmers have protested the national since November 26 last year against three newly enforced agricultural laws.
