Initially there was no reservation at AIQ until 2007 when a 15% reservation for SCS and 7.5% for STS was introduced.
Reservations for OBCs are not provided and the government has now decided to provide a 27% quota about the direction of Madras High Court who passed the order on Plea DMK.
Reservations for EWS have also been notified in AIQ.
