Davanagere: Prime Minister’s skills development training center founded here three years ago has attracted many students from the village.
Young kids were trained to become a data entry operator, junior software developer, it was a help desk clerk, sales association, technician, et al.
Many are also trained in welding arcs in the middle.
2,739 young people have been trained in the past three years, including 556 employed in various government and private companies throughout the country, said Karthik M, Central Manager.
“On the other hand, 355 young people who practice here have changed entrepreneurs, and giving work to others,” he said.
