Sindri: In significant developments, the CBI submitted the first Chargesheet on the Uttam Judge Anand the case of death in Dhanbad on Wednesday.
The source said revealing that the probe agent submitted a Chargesheet at the CBI court specifically against the driver Authorickshaw Lakhan Verma and his accomplices Rahul Verma under 302, 201 and 34 (killings) IPC.
Even though the CBI hasn’t named the conspirator behind the murder in the load sheet, it has been mentioned that there seems to be a conspiracy behind the crime and that the investigation into this case is still on.
The two defendants experienced Narco analysis and brain mapping in Gujarat by the CBI and interrogated various suspects who nested in prisons that were different from the country.
However, the agency has not concluded who might conspire to kill him and what the judge might trigger his murder.
Initially, the second was accused of claiming to have hit the judge in a drunk condition.
Then, CBI officials found several inconsistencies in Rahul Verma’s statement, but no concrete so far.
Anand was hit from behind when he jogged on the roadside by the autorickshaw driven by Lakhan Verma with Rahul sitting in the middle seat in Dhanbad on July 28.
CCTV footage of the incident clearly showed the left turn, hit the judge from behind and then returned to the empty road in the early hours of the morning, raising suspicion that the incident might be an intentional effort to knock down the judge.
The death of the judge created ripples in the tributant brotherhood across the country and even the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court took the exception to it and asked the authorities to ensure the security of judicial officials.
Although the state government formed a special investigation team (sitting) led by ADGP Sanjay Anand Limbar, this case was called CBI on orders from the Jharkhand High Court which continued to monitor cases regularly.
The CBI should archive the charging sheet in the specified 90-day period, which will expire on October 28.
