ThiruvananThapuram: This city will be under the supervision of a strong police on Sunday in connection with total locking enforcement as part of reducing covid pepititives in the city.
Restrictions will be similar to those enforced on Sunday, said Police Commissioner G Sparjankumar.
The Commissioner said the people who were caught roaming in the city without a legitimate reason would be ordered under the relevant sections of the procedures for the epidemic of Kerala.
Although there are strong limits, city police have registered as many as 139 cases last week.
61 people were arrested and 75 vehicles were confiscated from violators.
Those who were ordered included not only motorists who were moving without legal reasons, but also traders who failed to uphold the Covid protocol, including social distance, in their shops and companies.
On Sunday, there will be a strong police presence on the city border on the city border.
There are 18 points of entry / out on the city border and all these points will be sealed with barricades.
People who come to the city from outside will be allowed to enter only if their destination for their visit is very important, such as medical reasons or attending close relatives.
55 picket points have been opened within the city limits to check the driver.
In addition, patrolling local police personnel and members of the traffic division will be strengthened.
Patients go to the hospital, candidates will attend the exam, sanitation workers, car service mechanics will attend the case of emergency repairs and 24-hour functions industrial workers will be allowed to travel as long as they carry an official identity card relevant to them .restaurants will be permitted to function on Sundays Starting at 7am to 9pm with only the Take-Away option.
Shipping partners food delivery platforms, restaurants, e-commerce services, and courier services will not have a limit to travel, police said.
