Lucknow: Stretched the film project Uttar Pradesh in Noida following the statement of Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik that ‘Upwood could not come by slandering Bollywood’, Government spokesman Sidharth Nath Singh on Friday “misleading and wrong place”.
Accusing Malik tried to create a gap between Maharashtra and through his comments, Singh said Maharashtra minister clearly did not understand the idea behind the film Noida film.
“Up has a good local, labor and infrastructure needed to establish a film city.
The growth of regional cinema in the past will also add to the importance of this project,” he said.
Singh said the proposed film city will be developed near the airport that will come and will have the advantage of good infrastructure such as roads, toll roads, energy and vote order.
“Given this, some of the major players in the film industry have extended their support to the project.
City film will also produce massive employment opportunities, and a local workforce that works widely in the Mumbai film industry, will get a closer job,” He said.
“The city of film up has never been intended to mess up or shift Bollywood from Mumbai.
Instead, it aims to provide an alternative to filmmakers in the midst of a competitive atmosphere,” Singh said.
