Kolkata: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Exam (CISCE) will declare the results for the ICSE 1 semester (class X) and ISC (class X) exams on Monday.
This is the first time the council’s exam is divided into two parts of maintaining constraints in learning and uncertainty in the implementation of the offline exam during a pandemic.
The secondary inspection center board who also conducts the term test 1 in November is expected to immediately announce the results.
About 40,000 sat for the first semester of ICSE and around 25,000 for the ISC first semester exam.
Cisce Chief Executive Gerry Arathoon said the board would not issue a hard copy of the results of the semester 1.
However, the results would be available to school in the form of online transcripts and tabulation results.
In notifications sent to all principals, the council tells you that the results can be accessed by entering the Board’s career portal using the ID and password login.
Individual candidates can access results by visiting the www.cisce.org board website.
Candidates can also receive the results via SMS.
The online module to send a return request for the results will be available for only three days – starting at 10 am on 7 to 10 in the morning on February 10.
There is no request to be entertained afterwards.
Candidates that apply to repeat must apply directly through the Board website.
Costs will be Rs 1,000 per paper for ICSE and RS 1,000 per subject for ISC.
“We are passionately waiting for the results.
Because inspection mode is a multiple-based choice, completely different from the usual format, we all want to see how students have appeared,” said Delhi Public School Principal New City Sonali Sen.
