Bengaluru: Bengaluru police captured the couple for stealing the traffic signal battery on Tuesday.
A senior police officer from the Ashok Nagar police station told Ani, “With the increase in the case of traffic signal battery theft, we began scanning CCTV recordings and saw a suspect couple between 3am and 5 in the morning on a scooter.

A total of 68 stolen traffic signal batteries have been registered at various police stations in Bengaluru.
The defendant used to sell this battery as a memo and make money, said police officials.

Sikandar is a history of Sheeter and has been arrested for stealing two-wheeled vehicles in 2017 and 2018 by the UPParpet and JJ Nagar police station,” added police officers.
