The court told the airline to pay for a doctor 62k

Vadodara: Etihad Airways has been ordered to pay Rs 62,000 with 7% interest and legal fees as compensation for doctors based in Vadodara who cannot ride flights from Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad despite having confirmed tickets.

Krutesh Shah has approached the consumer dispute of the Rundressal commission, Ahmedabad in 2018 looking for compensation from international airlines and travel agents after traveling again disturbed.
In January 2017, Shah had booked a return ticket for Etihad Airways for San Francisco-Abu Dhabi-Ahmedabad through a travel agent.
Before going up a flight to Abu Dhabi, he was told by airline officials at San Francisco airport that he would get his boarding pass for Ahmedabad as soon as he landed in Abu Dhabi.
But when he arrived at Abu Dhabi, Shah was told that a flight to Ahmedabad had been fulfilled.
“The only choice I give is to take flight of Abu Dhabi-Delhi and then Delhi-Ahmedabad flights with the promise that my luggage will also reach Ahmedabad airport,” Shah said.
However, then, the items also have not arrived at Ahmedabad airport.
Shah has been looking for Rs 5 lakh as compensation for mental harassment and towards damage.
The commission on January 19 issued orders stating that this airline had to pay Rs 62,000 complainants as compensation apart from $ 200, which had been paid by the previous airline.
