Pune: The number of Covid-19 Daily cases remained below 2,000 for the second day in a row in the Metropolitan Pune (PMR) area on Tuesday, with 1,906 people testing positive infections in the last 24 hours.
While rural parts recorded 397 cases on Tuesday, the lowest in this region, the Pimpri Chinchwad area added 545 new cases, and the PMC limit recorded 964 new cases.
More than 4,000 patients were dismissed in the region on Tuesday.
These include 2,075 recovery within the PMC limit, 1,125 in the PCMC area and 891 patients in the rural and Cantonese.
Daily sample testing fell to 11,599 on Tuesday, including more than 5,000 tests carried out within the PMC limit, around 3,900 in the PCMC area and 2,562 samples from rural areas.
A report released by Bhagwan Pawar District Health Officer stated that 12 more patients surrendered to Covid’s related complications in the region on Tuesday.
While five deaths were recorded in the PMC limit, four patients died in the PCMC and three regions in regency rural areas.
Calculate active patients in this region reached 23,603 on Tuesday night, including 21,950 patients in house isolation.
