Vadodara / Anand: Gujarat Unit Gujarat Party Farmer Party Aam Aadmi (AAP) on Sunday submit a request to the police who stated that some unidentified criminals had tried hard to kidnap him on Saturday.
Ravi Patel, the President of the Farmer’s wing cell, said that a group of unidentified criminals approached him when the Jan Samvedna AP program took place in a party plot in Chikodhra Village Anand District on Saturday afternoon.
Patel said that he was asked to get out of the program’s venue under the pretext that a personal assistant (PA) was a AAP leader the country wanted to meet him.
He has accused that criminals continue to insist that Patel must come alone to fulfill PA and efforts to take him to isolated areas, far from other party members and supporters.
The criminals allegedly published indirect threats.
“The criminals first identified themselves as they came from the Maninagar Ahmedabad area then tried to provide references from several local leaders in Anand.
But because my supporters were present, even at a certain distance, they could not hurt me,” Patel said, added that the whole behavior and movement of the group was suspicious.
