Thiruvananthapuram: Nemom Police here on Saturday arrested a 33-year-old man who was desired in connection with the armed robbery case reported earlier this month in Pravachambalam.
The police identified the defendant as Jafar who lived near the Nemom train station.
He was charged as a second accused in this case.
The first accusation, Arshad, was arrested a few days after the crime allegations reported 6,700 and cellphones.
John was resting in his truck parked next to the National Highway in Pravachambalam when he faced the attack.
While the police managed to arrest the first defendant, Jafar managed to avoid arrest by hiding in a secret location.
He was arrested by a police team led by Sub Inspector Nemom Vipin and Prasad based on a tip received by Commissioner of Assistant Assistant S Shaji.
After the arrest, the defendant was produced before the court and returned in the custody of the judiciary.
