Den Haag: The European Union Drug Agency on Thursday recommended two new treatments against Covid-19 for use in blocks.
The European Drug Agency said Kineret, the immunosupressive used to treat the inflammatory conditions of the Swedish Orphan Biovitrum firm, can “reduce the damage to the lower airway, prevent the development of severe respiratory failure”.
It was also said that the Xevudy GlaxoSmithkline drug has shown in a study that it “significantly reduces hospitalization and death in patients with at least one underlying condition”.
