MADRID: The former Spanish king’s lover Emeritus Juan Carlos has filed a lawsuit with the British court accused him of spying on him, the latest twist in a financial scandal that disturbed the former king.
Public relations companies represent Corinna Larsen, a long Danish German businessman related to the former King of Spain, confirmed Wednesday that he had asked the London court to respond to the command of detention against Juan Carlos and compensation for alleged abuse.
Former lawyer King did not immediately respond to a request for comments by the Associated Press, but he had repeatedly defended the innocence of Juan Carlos during the ongoing financial scandal that achieved suspicion of researchers in Switzerland and Spain.
The Swiss prosecutor was looking at the transfer of several million euros given to Juan Carlos by the Saudi Arabia Almarhum Abdullah.
The former Spanish king then transferred part of the number to Larsen, which reportedly lived in London, in a researcher what was suspected was an attempt to hide it from the authorities.
It seems reluctant to Larsen to return money to Juan Carlos is the cause of their current hostility.

Since then his reputation as the leader of the Spanish democracy transition after General Francisco Franco’s dictatorship has been tarnished by this scandal and other scandals.
He left Spain last August to take a place to live, at least for a while, in the United Arab Emirates after Spanish investigators opened an investigation whether he had received a kickback for a contract that was awarded the Saudi Consortium.
