Vadodara: disturbed by dispute between groups of conflicting students, at first, the University of MS Science Faculty has released a schedule in advance announced in the days to be celebrated on campus.
Faculty officials receive requests from groups of students to allow them to celebrate the days.
“For us, the priority is Science Week that we organize between 22 and 28 February.
Groups students have asked permission to celebrate the days,” said Professor Haribhai Kataria, Dean of the Faculty of Science.
“We have asked all groups to come up with a general list of days they want to celebrate.
But instead of suggesting general days, every group wants us to follow their own day’s schedule.
So, we decide on the day schedule to end the line,” Kataria said .
Going with a ‘official’ schedule issued by the faculty, students will celebrate traditional days, followed by black and white days, signature days, department day, executive days and science days on seven days specified.
