Vadodara: M University M on Sunday conducts its first Executive entrance test (PET).
Executive pets are similar to ordinary PhD entrance tests conducted every year to encourage students to join the PhD program at the University.
“A total of 184 candidates have submitted an entrance exam which in 164 finally appeared.
The test was divided into paper I and Paper II.
It was done online,” said Professor Coordinator C n Murthy.
PET executives, called e-pets, have been introduced to encourage other industries and professionals who miss the opportunity to do a PhD after post-graduation.
The basic feasibility is at least five years of work experience.
“We accept the application for research in 25 subject fields.
Most applications in chemistry are followed by management and other subjects such as Hindi, Gujarati, Trade, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics to mention some,” he said.
