Varanasi: Kashi’s First Food Road Starting at ASSI Ghat which is famous along River Ganga on Saturday by Varanasi Smart City Limited with the aim of making tourists, worshipers, locals, and other visitors experience a sense of famous banarasi cuisine in one place.

D Vasudevan and Supplementary City Commissioner Sumit Kumar officially inaugurated this road called ASSI Higienis Food Street, which will operate with efforts with Varanasi Corporation of Varanasi.
Regarding the establishment of this street food Vasudevan said that Assi Ghat was chosen to build the first food road considering high footsteps of tourists, worshipers, students and local residents regularly.
This will allow visitors to experience a sense of famous banarasi cuisine in one place, he said.
This food has begun with 13 stores, which has many continental companies along with traditional banarated dishes such as Kachori-Sabzi, Chai banarasi and the others, officials said.
Food Street began watching an extraordinary response immediately after his inauguration as a young man, especially students from the University of Banaras Banaras Neigbhouring gathered in large quantities.
One Ustarsh, which has reached this food road with a group of students from Bhu to enjoy banarasi cuisine, said that the ASSI remains the main attraction for university students for sightseeing and building roads that will double their pleasure especially at night.
Tourists from Norway Abigail Mathew, who enjoyed the Banarasi Kachori-Sabzi in one of the kiosks described carrying road food in this main tourist spot as a unique step.
VMC officials including Dr.
NP Singh City Health Officers, Ajay RAM, Rakesh Vishwakarma, Ashish Bind and others are also present at the inaugural ceremony.
