Dibrugarh: The First Tea Museum in the Northeast Region will appear at the “City City of India”, Dibrugarh, and will be officially opened to the public in early 2023, said Rituparna Barak, Assam Tourism Development Corporation Limited (AATDC), here on Tuesday .

The proposal for building a tea museum was deposited approved by the State Tourism Department in 2016 and worked on ambitious projects starting at the beginning of 2017.
For the second phase of the project a number of Rs 40 Crore has been approved by NEC at a priority base, barrack said.
In the second phase, the auditorium, the tea garden model and tea factory will be built in the museum complex, which is spread in 2.66 hectares of land, barracks said.

This will be the first tea museum in the northeastern region and we will officially open it to the public in the first half of 2023.
