Greater Noida: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has proposed a 72km high-speed corridor between Nida Airport to come at IGI Airport and Delhi.
Metro connectivity will be built in two phases and will have a total of 13 stations between the Shares and the New Delhi train station.
The corridor will then connect with the Express line of Delhi airport to reach IGI.
In the presentation to the officials of the Yamuna Expressway Industry Development Authority (Yeida) on Monday, the DMRC team said the first phase – 35km Long – would have the bottom of the land and increase and would connect the knowledge of Taman 2 at Aqua Airport with Noida.
This independent corridor will have an intersection in a knowledge park 2 and there will be seven stations among them.
DMRC is likely to submit a detailed project report on March 31 and follow up with the second phase feasibility study of the Metro Link.
The second phase, the source said, most likely around 37 km and will be a span of a 2 knowledge park to the New Delhi train station.
The route is likely to run parallel with Noida Expressway and will have a station in New Ashok Nagar and Yamuna Bank.
“On Tuesday, the DMRC gave their proposal presentation to connect the airport of noida with Igi Delhi.
All corridors will be 72 km long.
The first phase will be built from the 2-knowledge park and the second from Knowledge Park 2 to the New Delhi train station.
DPR For the first phase it is likely to be ready on March 31, “said Arun VIR Singh, CEO Yeida.
According to the source, the first phase of 35km corridors will cost around Rs 5,000 Crore.

The train on this route will drop faster than on the usual Metro line and can take about an hour to cover the distance between two airports, with an exchange of them.
