Letter: Police ordered seven people including former members of the Municipality Congress Nilesh Kumbhani on Monday for allegedly slandering private schools and pans.
A complaint was submitted by the trustee of the Aashadeep International School, Mahesh Ramani at the Sarthana Police Station accusing continuous abuse by the defendant for several days in August.
Besides Kumbhani, the police ordered Tushar Aagaliya, Sanjay Dawra, Jay Nadiyadara, Dhuvin Savaliya, Mamta Savani and Suresh Pssala for defamation, unlawful assembly, criminal intimidation and others.
In his complaint Ramani stated that Kumbhani and his colleagues initially began demanding neglect of complete costs for all students studying at his school.
After Ramani refused, the defendant held a meeting on the farm and began sharing the details of slandering in public.
Then the defendant also received a poster that published slandering the complainant and his school and distributed it openly.
They put up a poster with a pedicab and sent it to various parts of Kapodra and Sarthana to share information into slander.
The defendant also held Dharna outside of school when the classes continued.
Ramani accused him that he was pressured to attack the compromise with the defendant by raising a cost problem.
