Berlin: German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Tuesday blew up western power over a desperate scene at Kabul Airport where thousands of Afghans had gathered in an effort to escape to the country.
“Pictures of despair at embarrassing Kabul Airport for Western politics,” he said, calling the situation in Afghanistan “the human tragedy that we are for responsibility”.
