Bengaluru: A 17-year-old girl was under the wheel of a truck and died after she was thrown from a scooter where she drove a Pillion in Kachohalli Cross, Chikkagollahatti, off Magadi Road, on Friday morning.
The racer, the girl’s relatives, said he tried to avoid the hole when the accident occurred.
Nubia, a resident of Goripalya, Mati Mysore Road and a 8th grade student of a private school, died instantly while his sister Afrin, 15, who was also in the pillion and relatives, Ahran, 28, minor injury.
Acting on Ahran complaints, Madanahatahalli police have ordered a case against truck divers and unknown officials of the Department of Public Works and Kachohalli Gram Panchayat.
The police said the Sisters and Ahran returned to town from Tavarekere after visiting their relatives and reaching Kachohalli Cross at around 10:45 a.m.
Ahran said lost control over the vehicle while trying to avoid the hole and the trio fell from the scooter.
A truck came from behind running on Nubia and also hit the other two.
Ahran told the police that the accident occurred because of a hole.
The police said Nubia died instantly and injured rushed to the nearest private hospital.
They won trucks and scooters from the place and attempt to catch the driver, who left the vehicle and escaped from the place.
The second fatality in stretching in 46 Jammalmahatahalli police said that the 57-year-old excise sub-inspector was killed on Wednesday only 50 meters from the place where Nubia ran on Friday.
C Krishnappa from Anjana Nagar is on his way to Tavarekere on the official assignment.
Around 12:30 a.m., a fast truck came from behind tapping his scooter.
Krishnappa lost control of his vehicle and fell on the road.
The rear wheel truck ran on it and he died in place.
Madanahatahalli police seized the truck scooter and Krishnappa and further investigation into progress.
The driver was great.
