Gurgaon: Chapter Gurgaon (SKM) Samyukta Kisan Morcha on Saturday condemned the use of water cannons by police to expel farmers who protested outside the residence of the Haryana tribe, Manohar Lal Khattar.
They also threatened to intensify their protests if the government did not start the procurement of the earliest rice plants.
Santokh Singh, Senior SKM member, said, “The Farmer Movement against three controversial agricultural laws is fully peaceful.
The government is afraid of the peace movement of farmers, and that is why it uses a way that violates the law to end the protest.
But these efforts will become Counter-productive because the protest will only become stronger.
“Farmers, United under SKM and Jai Kisan Andolan, also in the arms of the government for the delay in the procurement of rice plants in Mandis.
While farmers have performed protests and opposes the events of the BJP-JJP leaders in their districts to express their anger for three new agricultural laws, the delay in procurement increasingly lies it.
Farmers in round voice decided to intensify their protests outside the office and residence of the top BJP and JJP leaders in the state and also launched agitation in Mandis if the government immediately began the procurement of rice plants immediately.
“Rice plants lie in the field and are destroyed.
Farmers need to clean them to sow the next plant.
