Bhubaneswar: The state government on Monday suggested class X and XII students to be prepared for the council test amid a drop in the case of Covid-19 daily.
“With the Covid situation increases, there is a high chance that the exam will be held on the scheduled date,” said the school and the Minister of Education mass Samir Ranjan Dash.
“The government wants students to appear for offline exams.

In the wake up the increase in Covid-19 cases triggered by the Omicron variant, the state government announced the closure of offline classes in schools from January 5.
However, the state government managed to carry out Sumative-1 examinations in offline mode amid omicron threat and more than five Lakh students appeared for examinations at almost 3,300 centers throughout Odisha.
The state government will ensure the compliance of safety guidelines to carry out examinations in offline mode, added.
“We also want to conduct council checks in offline mode.
But with classrooms close again, it is rather difficult for us to revise the chapters in online mode,” said Alka Pradhan, a class X student.
