New Delhi: The government will launch aid channel with the aim of ensuring the right implementation of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes (prevention of cruelty) ACT, 1989.
In a statement, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment said National Aid channels against cruelty (NHAA ) Will be available all the time in the 14566-free number throughout the country.
It can be accessed by making voice calls or VoIP either from cellphones or land numbers from each telecommunications operator, the Ministry said.
Services will be available in Hindi, English and regions in the state and the United States.
NAA mobile application will also be available.
The purpose of Helpline is to build awareness about the provisions of actions intended to end discrimination and provide protection to all.
The system will ensure that every complaint is registered as FIR, relief is provided, all registered complaints are investigated and all submitted chargesheets are required in court – all in the schedule given in the law.
