Hazaribag: Governor of Ramesh Bais on Wednesday inaugurated a multi-use building and a digital studio at Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) in Hazaribag.
Multipurpose buildings will offer facilities for sports activities such as badminton, and table tennis, in addition to gym housing.
Digital studio, on the other hand, will ensure advanced hybrid teaching modes at the university.
BAIS said, “Good facilities are needs-of-the-hours and will help in the overall development of the academic environment in the university.” BAIS added, “Pandemic has hampered the education system but we need to work through innovative ways to bridge the gap.” He urged other universities to also regulate digital space.
Asked about his priority, Bais, who was a chancellor of all universities in Jharkhand, said, “My priority is to fill out all professor and teacher vacancies at all the most nations and state universities.
Since I took over as governor, I have met all VC to find out about their problems so that I can handle it properly.
“VBU VC Mukund Narayan Deo said that despite the pandemic, they managed to do more than 200 exams.
He added that they had begun to build a tribal education center at the University.
