Guwahati: The Gahati High Court while enforcing the trial court verdict, has carved CBI for “failed investigations” and “bad trials” into the twin murder that occurred in the heart of Guwahati 26 years ago.
The CBI has appealed before the High Court to Kunrup (M) the High Court Court which released Bhagya Kalita (A-1) and Fatih Ali (A-2) in 2017 accused of killing a carabic and his daughter Dubori Das in their rented house in Hurd here.
The third accusation, Bhupen Medhi, is still running away.
After the trial, the High Court found that there was “no evidence to prove” the cost of accusing accused and rejecting the CBI application.
