Vadodara: In a new twist, a woman, whose husband was accused of torturing her by forcing her to cut her skin using a knife, told the police that the accusation was not right and she was happy with her.
The woman denied all the allegations against her husband Selvyn Parmar by stating that the complaint was given by his father and not him.
When the police called the woman for the statement, he also said that the allegations of torture and violence were the time before they married.
He added that they had lived happily since marriage.
“He said that he was happy with his husband and evidence like whatsapp chat before his marriage,” said a police officer.
Women and Parmar married under the Action of Indian Christian marriages in Anand.
After arresting Parmar, the police had produced it before the court judge court for a detention.
However, requests for detention were rejected and Parmar allowed guarantees.
The female father has filed a complaint against Parmar, his sister Shweta and Pastor Paul at the Chhani Police Station.
He accused Parmar squeezing his daughter.
He added that Parmar asked him to cut his skin using a blade or threatening to post photos and his personal videos online.
Based on allegations of criminal intimidation violations, attacks and under the information technology law are registered against Parmar.
