T’puram: Ananthu, a member of the gas station in Vizhinjam was injured after he was attacked by a group of armed attackers on Tuesday late at night.
According to the complainant, the attack took place around 11:30 a.m.
when two attackers appeared to refill fuel in their two-wheeled vehicles.
Ananthu noticed that Pillion Rider spoke to someone through his cellphone and he asked him to hang up or moved to a safe distance from the pump.
His request was immediately dismissed.
When he insisted again it made his way for verbal quarrels.
Moments later, the two men returned with their friends and attacked Ananthu using sharp weapons.
He has suffered an injury to his back and arm.
The police said according to the recording of the surveillance camera there were four men in the gang.
