Two cases each reported in the Varachha A zone and limbayat.
In the Katargam zone and Varachha B, three cases were reported from each zone.
A 35-year-old man from Mandvi Taluka Village died of Covid-19 infection.
The deceased does not have comorbidity and is fully vaccinated.
“The death of a young patient in this wave is unusual.
The exact reason behind the man’s death is unknown but he is infected with Coronavirus.
It is possible that his overall health is weak and he might come late for care,” said a health official.
The deceased was hospitalized on February 7 and his condition deteriorated later.
Another death is a 71-year-old man from Bardoli with comorbidity such as heart disease and blood pressure.
He was not vaccinated.
A 54-year-old man from Hazira who died because Covid was fully vaccinated, but suffered from hypothyroidism.
