Coimbatore: The level of participants has dropped in the city, showing less prevalence of Covid infection.
While the city recorded 30.34% of the level of participation on January 22, it was 6.63% on Thursday.
The district’s positioning level was 17.8% on Thursday and 15.7% on Friday.
Daily infections in the city fell to less than 500 marks, with 337 cases reported on Thursday.
The city witnessed the peak on January 22 with 1,755 new cases detected from 5,784 samples.
However, on Thursday, only 337 cases were detected from 5,085 samples.
The district reported 1,224 new cases on Friday, took the total number of people undergoing treatment up to 18,342.
2,815 people were sent home.
Four people died, took the total amount of death to 2,582.
The level of pepositives fell to 15.7%
