Vadodara: A two-year-old girl was kidnapped from Ghughas Fatepura Taluka Village in Dahod who was allegedly by a man who had harassed his mother asking him to have a relationship with him.
The girl was kidnapped on Thursday night by Anand Pargi and the other four from the woman’s residence.
The defendant kidnapped the girl when her woman and relatives went to register Anand’s complaints.
A registered violation of the incident at the Fatebura police station on Friday night stated that Anand was the cousin of the woman’s husband.
The woman’s husband used to travel for work jobs and Anand used to meet the woman when her husband did not exist.
Anand insisted that he had an affair with him.
The woman stated that Anand came to his residence on Wednesday and asked him to come with him.
He threatened him that if he didn’t do it, he would kidnap him or his two-year-old daughter.
The woman informed her in-laws about the incident and they decided to approach Anand’s family.
Ayat Anand Malji Pargi, threatens the family and said that they would not be able to live in the village if they complained to the police.
The family went to the police station leaving a two-year-old girl with her aunt.
Anand and four others allegedly grabbed the two-year-old girl from her aunt.
Police Sub-Inspector Fatehpura C B Baranda said that a manhunt was launched to find the girl and the defendant.
“We have several instructions and are working on to track them,” he said.
The family also tried to find the girl.
They even met Anand Malji’s father, but he claimed that he and his son had kidnapped the girl.
