BELOGIVAVI: A harassment throws a stone to the office of Beleagavi North Mla Anil Benake late at night on Sunday here.
The police have submitted a kasing and launched the probe.
Police Commissioner MB Bororingaiiah said the defendant was identified as a satayam nayak.
The source said that the initial probe had revealed that the person who threw the stone was taken at the time of the incident and could not be traced.
Police sources said that the father of the defendant was known to MLA BENAKE.
