Mangaluru: In a tragic and strange incident reported in Addahole in Shiradi Village in Kadaba Taluk, a 43-year-old man died in place, after a tree fell on Sunday.
The deceased was Suresh Navada, who worked for IBM in Bengaluru, police said.
He, along with his wife Rashmin Sequeira and children arrived at Pavanje on December 23, to spend time with family.
They traveled back to Bommanahalli in Bengaluru on Sunday.
They left home at 5:30 a.m., and when they reached Addahole at 7:30 a.m., they heard a voice from the car.
Suresh immediately stopped the car and went down to check what was wrong, when a tree from the Forest reserve area fell to him, killed him in place.
The car was destroyed because the tree fell on it.
His wife and children escaped were not hurt.
